I love to put together design boards or mood boards when I’m decorating a room, it helps me visualize what it will look like together! We decided to turn our extra bedroom into a space for the kids, we’re calling it a game room!
Surf Themed Bedroom
Light blue, statement wallpaper, relaxed vibes… that was the inspiration for the space. My first step was to add window trim to the windows, we’ve been adding trim room by room as we do projects! We only have a few left now!! It makes such a big difference! Next, I added paint! That is where we are at – part one! In part two I’ll be finishing the wallpaper, switching out the light, mounting the tv, hanging art!
Game Room Ideas – Before
Just a regular old bedroom! Pre-window trim and pre-paint!
Game Room Decor
After paint, window trim, and the decor was added! I’ve purchased everything in the inspiration design board I shared – I’ll be wallpapering this week and I can’t wait to show you how that turns out! I love the current light so I’m going to use that in another bedroom and switch in the Serena and Lily black light I purchased! Once I mount the tv and add the art frame (I chose beige!) it’ll really start to finalize the space!
