We’ve stayed at several Resorts now at Walt Disney World in Orlando but this was our first time at a Value level resort!! They offered a great deal for Annual Passholder’s and we decided to make an overnight trip so that we could be there for opening day and the next day!!
Room Tour of the 60’s Preferred Pool View Room
When we arrived we were a little confused on where to park, but once we figured that out, it was smooth sailing!! With Covid-19 safety measures in place, we checked in right from the app on our phone, never even going to the front desk. We headed straight to the room.
We found that it was VERY clean and updated. I was pleasantly surprised at the fun artwork and felt like it was the perfect size for the 4 of us. Usually, my husband travels with us and our kids are old enough now that we wouldn’t normally be able to stay in a room this size. But for 2 parents and 2 children or 1 parent and 3 children, it was perfect!!
How fun is this Mickey art?? So cute! And the mid-century light fixtures, very on brand for the 60’s!
We ate dinner right at that little table under the hideaway bed and it was perfect!
My boys loved the art once we pulled the murphy bed down! Adorable!
Overall I’d highly recommend this resort!! We didn’t have time for the pool but we’ll likely visit the pool on our next planned visit, which is very soon!!
Note – usually I’d get groceries or food delivered to the room but due to Covid-19 they are not allowed outside deliveries, so you need to plan ahead and pick up your items prior to your arrival or plan on making the expedition!
