This bedroom really needed personality and I had been seeing vertical shiplap around and knew it would be perfect for this room. I choose to shiplap the back wall only and color block paint the rest of the room! Our son loved how the room turned out!
The bedroom was very builder grade basic beige before we started, no trim around the windows, and sliding closet doors.
The Boys Bedroom Before:
The first thing I did was pry the baseboard off on the back wall so that I could attach the vertical shiplap. Once the shiplap was up, it was time for paint!! I went with Benjamin Moore Webster Green
Kids Room Transformation Process:
Unfortunately I don’t have great pictures of the true after, but I did order a desk and a few other decor items after this last picture was taken to really complete the space!! I wanted to at least share how the paint transformed this kids bedroom!!
